- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and regularly attend meetings, read their published journal of latest research in singing and voice, and attend masterclasses by great master teachers.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I am trained to teach private singing lessons, sight-reading, basic music theory, and private cello lessons. In addition, I am an active performer and frequently collaborate with other singers, pianists and musicians.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A woman came to me with no singing experience. She wanted to enter a Regional singing competition through her church. Within two months of lessons, I helped her progress from singing in her car to winning second place in the singing competition! I am so proud of my student's successes. Many have won roles in their school shows, scholarships for college, and high ratings in competitions they enter. I equip them with the tools to succeed and those who take them and run with them really do well!
