If I could give zero stars I would but 1 will have to do. I found Greg at a Bridal show and was completely blown away by the work he had shown me. After meeting with him and going over cost it was a good deal and I was excited to have him personally come to my wedding with his wife to capture my special day after I had told him I was very picky. He assured me he would take care of me.
Unfortunately, this is where my positive views of him have to stop. On my wedding day yes him and his wife were dressed professionally for the job but his demeanor was completely rude. During the ceremony I only have two photos captured of me (the bride) walking in with my parents and two photos captured of my husband and I having our first kiss as husband and wife. All of these photos STUNK! I have my eyes closed or there are huge heads in the photos and I am so unhappy with the photos produced. I have no nice group shots because he only wanted to take pictures of the group as he wanted them for "his book." These are all pictures that were really important to me and were not captured and are now forever lost.
We took pictures out in front of the venue after the ceremony and they all turned out dark and you can NOT even see the faces of my bridal party. After the ceremony we took pictures outside again and when we were finished we headed to the cocktail hour. Instead of going around with us to ask us if there are any people we would like to take pictures with Greg and his wife headed to the bar and helped themselves to drinks. When I wanted pictures taken I had to go and search for them to ask them. There was no urgency to take more pictures I wanted or much interest in me the customer at all. Not only was he rude to me but he was also rude to my guests. Greg's wife was extremely nice and I have no bad words to say about her.
After the wedding when I received my pictures I immediately burst into tears because I was so upset with what there was. I had more pictures of people dancing and doing the YMCA then my husband and I or the bridal party as a whole. After making it known to Greg that I was very upset I was fed excuse after excuse as to why he didn't to what I was asking him to. To me this just made me more upset and dislike his service even more due to his unprofessional customer service. I picked pictures out and went over my final book with him and again brought up the terrible quality of the group of pictures that were taken at my wedding and once again, EXCUSE and arguing. While at his home in his office we argued for ten
minutes about how I was unhappy with his pictures. Greg told me it was because the flash needed time to "reload" which is a total lie because I have a friend in photography and has no idea what he is talking about. The lack of pictures has no excuse especially because there were two photographers there. Before leaving his office with my final book being sent to the printer he offered me two parent books to make up for the crappy job he did. Yes I took them because he asked "if that would make me happy?" In my opinion, this is one of the worst services I have ever had and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend Greg to capture your special day no matter how much he charms you with how many other big photography companies he worked for in the past.
