Introduction: Our passion for martial arts sets us apart. Our gym is run like a club. Our instructors don't get paid. They teach Boxing, Karate, Jujitsu so they can pass their knowledge on to the next generation. It's our love for the arts that sets us apart! I love when you can slowly see members making positive changes in their lives. They gain confidence, strength, self discipline and then they want to give back and help others change their lives in the same way. It's much more than getting fit, or learning how to defend yourself.

This is a great gym for everyone from beginners to seasoned athletes. The variety of classes offered via the different instructors allows for everyone to get a great workout in each day. The Strength and Conditioning classes on M, W and Saturday are a great warmup for other classes. Boxing classes include everything from heavy bag work to Tabata to mixed heavy bag and exercises targeting specific areas such as core/arms/legs. The instructors are easy to work with and will assist every level athlete with their workout in order to get the best from the time spent at the gym. The atmosphere is positive, high energy and always engaging. The athletes at the gym are a great group of people and always ready to work to make you feel welcome. Well worth the money and time.

I've been training under Greg for almost 2 years now. When I started, I knew NOTHING about martial arts. All I knew was that I wanted to get in shape and I didn't want to go to a "normal" gym. Greg runs some awesome workouts and I dropped almost 20 lbs before an injury sidelined me for a bit. He pushes you but doesn't push you past your limits. The atmosphere of the gym is cool. It's a small-ish space so you get to know everyone, if not by name then by face. It feels more like a club than a normal gym. And when someone achieves something, everyone cheers you on.

I have worked and trained with Sensai Eck for several years. Like all the other Kenpo and boxing instructors at DGBMA, he is very encouraging, knowledgable and patient teacher. DGBMA is a positive environment for people who want to work hard and improve both their physical and mental abilities.

I've practiced martial arts on and off most of my life. I'm a new member at DG Martial Arts and from my experience and training at DG I know this is the place for me. Greg Eck is an outstanding instructor and in phenomenal shape. They work hard and are attentive to their students and I'd recommend DG to anyone looking for at Kenpo, Jujitsu or Boxing gym.
