- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wrote my own ceremony when I got married next thing I know a few months later I have friend calling want to know if i would write a ceremony for them and officiant the wedding. So I started putting together a business plan and next thing I know here I am.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't settle for the first person you come across meet with the individual or at least speak with them on the phone make sure your vision's match and personalities too.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
My full time profession is as a Correctional Sergeant, I was previously enlisted in the Army for 6 years as a Military Police Officer. I began this business shorty after I got married it was when I was planning my own wedding that I realized no one will personalize a ceremony for you. Every one i came across either had one reading or maybe a few to choose from but no one was willing to get to know me and my spouse and create a ceremony that was tailored to us as a couple. I ended up writing my own ceremony. My spouse was so impressed next thing I know a few months later I have friends calling wanting me to write there ceremony and marry them so a business formed.
