FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I make my pricing very easy. If I come out and give a free estimate, that price will not change. If someone wants a price over the phone it will be a little bit higher, just because I can’t see with my own eyes. If something in the job comes up unexpectedly then it would be brought up right away before the job goes any farther. A lot of times if the payment is cash, I tend to give a cash discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to come out to the job, meet the person and really find out what they are looking for. Find out what there ideas, concerns, and time line is. Give them a free estimate and tell them a little about me. Always happy to talk with the customer and answer any questions they might have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Carpenters training school from 1997-1999. Also took a 20 hour OSHA safety coarse. Also worked in a union for 13 years.
