Introduction: I have a few things I like about my job. The first one is when I am completely finished with a job, and the client is completely surprised that I was able to transform their aquarium into something they never thought was possible. The second awesome thing about my job is when the fish tanks are big enough for me to get into! I have gone into many fish tanks to clean algae and things I couldn't reach normally, but by far my favorite tank to go into is the one at the Hog Wild Restaurant. This restaurant is located on the south side of Chicago on 151st and Pulaski. It's a beautiful tank if you have the time to check it out go for it, and grab a bite to eat!

Niki came in and looked at my setup. Gave me possible solutions for my tank issues. Before she came to my house we had sent several issues back and forth and she asked all the questions i needed to make sure she would have all the right possible equipment for my older filter. I was extremely impressed with the service i received and would recommend aquarium solutions to anyone. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into the hobby when I found something I am really good at, and have tremendous skill in. I have been in the aquarium hobby for about 13 to 14 years now. I have been actually maintenancing tanks for almost for years now, and that's commercial, and residential clients not just family. I have been volunteering at the John G. Shedd aquarium for about two years now, and I love it there. I teach aquatics lessons, and coral fragging. Also how to setup, and maintain aquariums. I would also be willing to do this for children at schools for a biology or chemistry class. I enjoy the hobby very much, and it is my passion. I am always trying to find ways to get people interested in the hobby, and be able to enjoy it as much as I do!
