About
I am extremely passionate about my work. I create images that aren't too conventional. They stand out from the norm with my unique take on lifestyle photography. I specialize in the 'day in the life' look. I shoot mostly in natural light and on location. I love to capture the raw, real, and in the moment. The things that make a person an individual. Capturing their essence and exposing their soul. If I am being honest, I find studio photography to be very boring. I want you to have something beautiful and natural. Something that flows and you can vibe with. Not basic awkwardly posed pictures with harsh studio lighting and cheesy props.
I am an artist for the wonderfully complicated, beautifully messy, incredibly curious, and ferociously loving. My clients are those looking for something extraordinary. They want pictures that stand out and create emotion when you look at them. Art from my soul beautifully displaying yours.

My husband and I feel so fortunate to have found Maggie. From our initial phone call to when she sent the final images, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was simultaneously calm, assertive and professional. An added bonus is she has a great sense of humor! When we first got in touch with Maggie, she made a concerted effort to learn about us as a couple. She’s a captive listener and you can tell she cares a great deal about catering her storytelling and style to all of her subjects. We did our engagement photo shoot in Letort Park in Carlisle, PA. Maggie not only put us at ease with her jokes, he also did something that I believe played an important part in leading to the incredible, evocative photos we ended up with: she asked us to stop for a few minutes, look each other in the eye and say why we loved each other, what qualities we admired. The results were stunning, and not only because Maggie is an expert in her craft at a technical level, but also due to the way she masterfully interacts with the people she is working with. After being floored by the quality of the engagement photos we would have been happy if the wedding shots were of the same caliber. But no, Maggie and her assistants took it to a new level. Sugary Giggles is a family business which I found refreshing. She brought along her daughter and Husband. What came back to us from Maggie looked better than what you see in the best magazines and blogs. Our event was at The Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility and Maggie took full advantage of the raw beauty of our venue, putting us and all of our guests in the best light. Whether it was with the family and bridal party shots or getting in the middle of the dance floor during the reception, Maggie made sure to capture all the photos we would have wanted and more. Her performance was an A+ and I give him my highest level of recommendation!

Maggie was able to get me in same day with a last minute project. Our birth photographer literally cancled on me the day I went into labor. So so so glad I found thumbtack and Sugary Giggles. Maggie was at the hospital within the hour. She deserves ten stars!

What an incredible photographer Maggie is! She's not only patient but knows how to put people at ease and has keen eyes on what works for her client. Maggie did a photo shoot for my daughter last week and she went over and beyond her time allocated to the project to make sure every picture turns out perfect. Also we were so impressed that Maggie was able to put together the whole package including hair, makeup and photo shoot with such short notice. The hair and make up turned out amazing too. Thank you very much Maggie for those magical photos and undoubtedly, we will be calling you with our future projects. We are very grateful for you. You are a rare gem!

Very professional experience! I had 4 children to have done individually and group family pics! She was patient and knew ways to manage the task when I was certain we were the worse group she had ever seen (ha ha ha) The pictures were beautiful moments captured and I received them sooner than anticipated! Definitely recommend her services!
