FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take a variety of courses from London Eyes Makeup Academy, MAC Pro, and Smashbox to stay current.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work on everything from corporate head shots and those for actors, to one-off party applications, weddings, and I also do parties where I'll teach a small group how to do something they've wanted to try, e.g., Lips & Lashes (bold, red lips and how to apply fake lashes in strips or singularly). I also work with clients 1:1 to go though their existing makeup bags: what do you love? Let's run with that and see what else can be kept, too, and maybe repurposed. . .maybe that eyeshadow can double for eyebrows! Do you need replacements (due to age, or out of style/favor with you)? Let's go hit up CVS/Walgreens and/or Sephora together! I'll ensure you get the best deals and know how long you can expect to keep your new treasures! When to scrimp and when to splurge! And of course, traditional application (brushes, sponges, hands) as well as airbrush!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You do genuinely get what you pay for. I use absolutely the best products in the industry, from Dior and La Mer to Aveda and MAC and many more, and will ensure that you're happy with your look by checking in with you. You will absolutely get your money's worth and feel relaxed, beautiful, and empowered by the time I leave!
