Green attic came out and took a look at my mudroom letting me know adding insulation probably would not help too much. They said I would be better off adding a potential duct with vent. I appreciate the honestly and no high pressure sales tactics.

They just walked out the door, so I won't know how well insulated I am till it gets cold, but I can say Winn and his crew were great. They kept me updated along the way, let me look at their work and take pictures, and even recommended I not do something, which then knocked 100 off my bill! So it was nice to have some honest guys in the house, as I was working from home. They kept the mess nice and contained and cleaned up well too! Dennis was also great with helping me decide what I needed for the quote when he did the inspection, and was always responsive to my text questions. So far, I say 5/5 -

I was originally going to re-insulate the attic myself, but when I looked into the finer details and after installing several can lights, and removeing few hundred pounds of trash left by the previous owners, I knew that I was in over my head.This was furthered cemented when the removal team pulled out about 10bags of useless kimsul insulationLastly I'll be honest I was primarily concerned about the cost as the payback vs the energy saved would take a couple years but I completely neglected the "comfort" cost. There was an immediate difference in comfort and having a 1950's home my expectations were low. I couldn't believe it, the temperature dropped or increased rapidly in my home and it's pretty much rock stable now, but when Emilio said the blower door score had been dropped in half I was in complete amazement.I love these guys and I have complete faith in them!
