- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do a free initial consult. Most couples require 2-3 sessions to reach an agreement. Sessions are $250. The document (MOU) you need to present to the court costs $300. The cost of mediation is often a fraction of the cost of hiring attorneys.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I often have an initial meeting with couples in an informal setting to determine if we are a good fit. There is no fee for the initial consult. At this time, I can answer all your questions and work with you to set up the first mediation session. Mediation sessions are in a private office close to your home town.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a psychologist with a general mediation certificate from Northwestern University and a specialized divorce mediation certificate from Conflict Resolution Training Inc. I have over thirty years of experience teaching, counseling, and doing dispute resolution.
