FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really love helping people. I am the type of person that wishes for others, what I wish for myself. When I contact a customer, or show up at their address, I am always respectful and mindful of what they need, or want done. I make it simple. I make it affordable. I do what is needed, just clean and efficient. Having my own business, puts me in a very unique position to do things at no charge for people if I want. I like the feeling of paying it forward for surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2016. I’m blessed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for LaMantia Builders, Eagle Electric, and Brigham Construction, so my ability to go beyond just electric is extensive, given the fact that having a remodeling, and designer type of mind helps in all aspects. When you have a passion for something, you want to honed that skill, perfect it, and learn, or research the latest in what’s new. These qualities are what makes the job so exciting and rewarding.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally worked for Eagle Electric, we were contracted under LaMantia Builders back in the late 1980’s. The first job I ever did was a 3 way switch for an elderly woman. The switch had not function for approximately 7 years. I remove the broken switch and installed a new switch. When I flipped the switch on, the lady’s eyes and face just lit up. She was so incredibly happy, as if the heavens had opened, and was shining the light down on her. What a great feeling to do that for someone, at that point, I knew I wanted to be an electrician. True story.
