FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend one or two educational sessions, at a minimum, every month. As an active participant and executive board member of the Northern Illinois Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (NIC-ASHI), which is an organization dedicated to the education of affiliated home inspectors, I take my continuing education very seriously. In addition to attending as many NIC-ASHI events as time allows, I also regularly attend trade conferences and technical seminars, and am an active member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI). I have always loved learning and my profession, so my passion for education and the ongoing development of my professional practice is always fostered with enthusiasm.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type of job we do is a residential home inspection for a buyer. Second to that is moisture assessments and mold testing for home owners, buyers and sellers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Give us a call. Speaking on the phone is the best way to learn more about your inspector and to find out if they are going to be a good fit for you and your inspection. There is no better way to get the information you are looking for regarding our services, and for getting an accurate quote than a phone conversation. If you aren't a phone person, the next best thing is an email. To be honest, if you plan to buy a home that you and your family will live in for years to come, for hundreds of thousands of dollars, you need a qualified inspector that you are comfortable talking with about your investment.
