Mark’s Tutoring & ACT/SAT Test Prep

Offering two different programs of instruction for language arts: either ongoing weekly lessons or 5 total hours of specialized instruction for ACT or SAT test preparation. My hourly rate is $25 for ongoing sessions, and the 5 hour test prep program is $200. I am a secondary level teacher of verbal content areas, including English, Reading, Writing, and Vocabulary. I am a certified English language arts teacher who holds a Master of Art in Teaching, and I am currently obtaining an Educational Doctorate in Teacher Leadership. I believe in focusing on specific areas of need to improve test scores and student confidence. I have successfully increased ACT and SAT test scores in verbal content areas during my years working with high school students. (Please note: I do not teach Math or Science, only verbal subjects.) I primarily work at the secondary level, but I am also available for elementary levels in special cases. For instance, I can provide phonics or spelling help for younger students, or I can work with middle school students who need help with writing or the high school entrance exam.
