Introduction: I'm not in it to click off 700 images to fill your file. I'm in it to capture those unique moments. I want that single shot to be able to show the love that was evident that day. My images will be powerful story telling images. I like the challenge of bringing that client to the point that they feel confident in making the best image that they can make. Mr. Hindert did a wonderful job at completing a milestones photo shoot for my family. He first photographed my family with our son when he was just under 1 years old and now came back for another shoot in the same area less than a year later so we could see how our boy had grown! He had also done a shot within our home when our son was around 6 months old (since our outdoor setting for the following shoots wouldn't have been as conducive at the time). It was very wonderful to get solo shots, posed shots, and candid shots to see the interaction we have with our child. He truly understands family as his own son comes along with him on some shoots to act as a second camera (honing his own skills) and to help with lighting and lens changes etc. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the drive they have to get a ton of photos, take into account your preference, and also give suggestions to show you shots and views of yourself you could not imagine. Thank you again!

Jack Hindert is a very talented photographer! We did three photo shoots together. It was cool and fun. Despite the fact that he is so serious during the process, as a model I felt comfortable. Jack delicately revealed the "working areas" of the face and body, and focused on them. I was a picky model with a lot of suggestions. Jack had a superb patience and concentration. I was impressed that Jack wasn't scared to experiment with outfits and make up. He let my imagination join his professionalism which made us a great team. He attentively listened to my every idea, improved it his way and as a result we got the excellent pictures! After I posted them on FB I got a bunch of messages from my friends: "Wow!. Who's a photographer?" etc..

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am consistently in learning mode. I have multiple online venues and educational outlets that I subscribe to. I am attending a 5 day seminar on photography at the end of June. I am excited to see what new and innovative things there are to be learned.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
The line of work found me. in shooting my own children (with some nice Canon toys) i was continually asked for images that I had taken. At some point in time I figured I had to be missing something. I started the education process to get to where I am now.
What types of customers have you worked with?
i am primarily a wedding shooter, but that via referrals turns into a family portrait photographer as the clients appreciate your work and want to continue working with you as their new family grows.
