FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are many factors that go into the final cost, including the size of the project and what type of materials will be used. We are focused on providing the highest quality installation and customer service possible at a reasonable price. We have a showroom with many different flooring options to choose from, depending on the amount you want to invest in your flooring. We do offer financing options that can be as good as no payments or interest for 24 months. We guarantee all of our installations for 1 year for your peace of mind.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by having a brief discussion on the phone to get a general idea of what your flooring project is and what's most important to you in a contractor. We then schedule a time at your convenience for someone to come out to look at the job site and do some measurements. Our office takes these measurements and creates a proposal for the labor portion of your flooring project. We deliver the proposal by email and follow up with a phone call to make sure everything is clear and answer any questions that you may have. From here, it depends on if you need materials or will be providing them. If you have your own materials, we would begin looking into scheduling your flooring project. If you haven't purchased your new floor yet, you are in luck because we have a conveniently located showroom at the corner of N. Alpine and Burden Road in Machesney Park, IL. We have 100's of options of hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, WPC, luxury vinyl tile, ceramic, and carpet from local distributors in Illinois and Wisconsin at WHOLESALE PRICES. You won't be disappointed. We will help you through the process of choosing the right flooring for your budget and needs to ensure you're happy with your new floor for years to come. Shortly after your installation, someone from our office reaches out to ensure you're overall happiness and satisfaction with our work. It is a pain-free, effortless process that focuses on your convenience and needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
KDS Installers are all Certified through the NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association), Certified in Lead-Safe Renovations and we take flooring classes annually in all areas of flooring.
