- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Moves that are less than 35 air miles are charged at an hourly rate depending on the number of trucks and movers that are required to move your home safely and efficiently. Moves over 35 air miles are regulated by the state, therefore charges are based on weight and mileage. (P.S. Any licensed and insured mover will charge this way)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a family-owned company, It is important that we have great communication with all of our customers to make sure that we take special notes, bring all of the proper tools, and answer any questions that you might have. This is something that some companies overlook but we make a point to take very special care of all of the families we move. Step 1: We will do an estimate with you over the phone and answer any questions you might have. Step 2: If Necessary we like to come out to your home (this gives us the opportunity to make any special notes that pertain to moving safely and also allows you to meet us! Step 3: If you choose, we will schedule a day and time to perform your move. Before every move, we will give you a call to confirm and answer any final questions. JUST LIKE THAT, WE ARE MOVING! NO STRESS, JUST RELAX AND LET US TAKE GREAT CARE OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our staff is incredibly knowledgeable and have worked with thousands of happy customers. Its easy to forget that the movers who come out are the ones that will be handling your belongings. This is why we focus alot of attention on our movers. All of our movers work full time for StraightLine Moving and have an average of 5 years experience each. We also have a very low turnover rate which means our movers have been with us for a very long time!
