FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start by setting up a time for a 2-hr in person consultation where you will be charged $100. During this time, we will go over every detail of your project, your likes/dislikes, goals, budget, etc. After our meeting we will work on your project and submit you a quote. If you agree with our proposal, the initial consultation fee will be credited back into your account and, upon receiving the initial deposit (50% of designer's fee), we will start working on your project. :: Since each project is unique, our fee will be based on the scope of your work. The only set fees we have are for color consultation and staging design consultation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA in Interior Design from an accredited school. NCIDQ certification LEED AP ID+C certification Registered Interior Designer in Illinois
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Before hiring a design professional, have a clear understanding about the differences between Interior Designer and Interior Decorators. Decorators AREN'T Designers! Unlike decorators, interior designers must have a formal training. Check his/her credentials, if the professional doesn't show a portfolio, ask for one.
