Introduction: Do you ever notice how the amount of clutter around you affects the amount of stress you feel? We’ve all had times where we’ve just chosen to shut the closet door or turn our head from the ever-growing pile of laundry to avoid the negative feelings that come with facing it. Physical mess externally translates into psychological stress internally, and I’m here to help you with those challenging spaces. I know that organizing spaces around you will result in a greater sense of well-being, peace, and control. For as long as I can remember, I've always loved organizing spaces. There's a certain sense of satisfaction gained from taking a messy and chaotic drawer, closet, or room and transforming it into a peaceful, orderly space. I realize not everybody enjoys organizing as much as I do, but I’ve found that most people do love spending time in organized spaces. While I naturally enjoy the process of organizing, I also possess a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and have a background in Education. Additionally, I am a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), the leading resource for professional organizers. I understand that inviting a professional organizer into your home is an intensely personal experience. My background has prepared me to approach each individual’s environment with empathy and respect. We’ll worth the investment!!! I wanted to do this project myself but as time became limited, I reached out for help. I’m glad I did! Cherie was magic! We had a large area play room to organize and was blown away how fast and efficiently she did it. The work was completed three weeks ago (also hosted a kids party during those three weeks) and it’s still so neat and organized. With the system she put together plus the labeling, even my 6 year old is helping me keep things organized!!! Thank you Cherie!

I have never used a professional organizer, and Cherie did not disappoint! She's professional and patient. I was so overwhelmed and she walked me thru all the steps. My closet was absolute mess, now my bedroom and closet look great. She left with 10 bags of clothes and shoes. I loved that she dropped them off to be donated! Thanks for your help!

Cherie is amazing! I cant recommend her enough! She knows her stuff and works with you. She came for a consultation and sent me an email that was amazingly helpful. She gave me a list of things that she suggested we do for each of the rooms I needed her help with. Her email was enough motivation to get me started. When she came, she was very kind and very helpful and was ready to work. I was really impressed with all of the supplies that she brings and all the backups. She is definitely professional and ready for snags you might hit along the way. She taught me different techniques that has really stuck with me. Ever since she left, I have been more organized and have really stuck with it. My only regret is not calling her sooner. I never even knew that something like this even existed. In my desperation I just googled organization and she popped up and I decided to give it a try. Best investment I ever made. she will be coming back next month as I would like for her to come quarterly just to walk around the house with me and help me keep things in order. This has forever changed not only my life, but my familys life. I never realize how organization can really help you in all areas of your life. Its wonderful not going around the house looking for a missing cord, or crayons... or anything! I can confidently tell you where every single thing is in my home. That has never happened before! Whether you are someone who is naturally organized, or someone who is finding their way like me, she is a really wonderful resource to help you get things done quickly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing runs at $100/hr for my hands on work and expertise, for a minimum of 4 hours. Each session includes a complimentary carload of donation drop offs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before any organizing takes place, I always like to start with a virtual mini consultation so I can see the spaces the client wants help with, listen to their goals, and find out more about their overall household situation. I provide general estimates and product recommendations at this time. This allows me to come to the first appointment ready with the proper supplies and plans in place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I possess a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology as well as a teaching certificate. I also belong to the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, which provides educational opportunities, ethical oversight, and networking within the professional organizing industry. Additionally, Angie and I both run busy households with spouses, children and dogs. We understand the very real impact that organization can have on a household’s functionality, and the importance of having peaceful surroundings.
