- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't say I have "standard" pricing, I do have starting rates for services, but everything is adaptable to what the customer needs. I don't put together packages to make people buy things they may not need or want. Feel free to check my website for those rates, I am always happy to talk through what it is you are looking for and advice and estimates are always free.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked at a large creative agency in St. Louis photographing events and doing commercial work on the photography side...and... producing, shooting and editing a wide range of corporate videos. Brandumentary style, event highlights, fun spoofs, are just a few of the styles we did. I have always had the passion creating photos and videos, I credit a coworker of mine who I often partner with for helping me bridge the gap from my photography work to offer more documentary style wedding highlight videos.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds of customers - from fortune 500 companies and their executives, to young couples in love, to furry ones (animals of course), to large families, to those people who really don't want their picture taken, to those who can't get enough of the camera, the list goes on and on. The point is every customer has a different need and I understand that. It is about knowing who you are working with, listening to their needs and getting the job done while creating an enjoyable experience for everyone.
