I couldn’t be happier with the work Derek and Kaykar Group did on our backyard! The difference is incredible. We started with a yard that had large bare areas, patchy grass, and really needed some attention and a cohesive plan. Derek completely transformed the space with new sod, landscaping, mulch, and a beautiful stone pathway. The finished yard looks clean, polished, and completely refreshed.

He even set up sprinklers with a timer to ensure the new sod and garden received the proper amount of watering.

Derek was great to work with throughout the entire project—professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He listened to what we wanted, offered helpful recommendations, and clearly took pride in making sure everything turned out right.

The before-and-after photos honestly speak for themselves. Our backyard looks like a completely different space, and we’re so happy with how it turned out. I would absolutely recommend Derek and Kaykar Group, LLC to anyone looking for quality landscaping work!

Derek is highly responsive. He and his team did everything that he said they would do. It’s only been a few days since install, but so far the quality of their work for the sod installation has been good and all my expectations have been met.

Derek took our request for help in clearing an uncontrolled part of our yard, and then took time to walk our whole property and suggest what might work better for our home's landscaping. He and his team developed and proposed a plan, set a timeline and came and worked the project with their eye always on the finished project we had in mind. We were impressed by the crew's commitment to doing things right throughout the process. Derek checked in with us and kept us in the loop all along the way, and has been present checking the work often in the weeks since completion. Really a great experience as a homeowner. I definitely recommend Derek and his team.

Derek was great from the first contact - responsive and transparent - even sent over his insurance coverage without my even asking him. I'm going to be asking everyone for that moving forward.

Day of the move: he let me know when he would meet me at our storage unit. They wrapped everything that needed wrapping and loaded up the truck taking care of everything.

At the destination: the parking situation is tricky in our neighborhood, and to top that there was city construction work happening right in front of our building. These guys made it work - dropped things off where we asked them to: the basement, the back deck and the second floor.

Wish I had these guys do the pack up and cross country move to Chicago for me.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Derek is a top notch guy, tells you exactly what you need to do and provides up front pricing options. We have severe flooding problems in our back yard and needed to have the entire yard regraded. Derek came out and gave as a quote in only a few days, then got us on the schedule about a week later. Couldn't be happier. After all the rain we have gotten the past two days all the work done has proven to have solved our issue.
