Introduction: My style isn't posed. I've realized the best photographs are the ones where your subject isn't even paying attention to your existence. I like to be the fly on the wall, snapping away discreetly. I'm friendly and outgoing, I'm personable but professional. Laid back, and easy to work with. My work has a lot of soul in it.
I get to be a part of the best day of other peoples lives for a living. I get to witness it behind a camera once, maybe even three times a weekend. I spend lots of time around love, and after seven years of photographing it professionally I can really say each couple has their own unique shade of passion for each other. I like being the person who helps others remember this part of their life, where their passion began and what it's like when maybe one day someone cannot remember those days. Photographs so incredibly valuable, I love being able to give that happiness to people for a living.

I've only seen the first couple of pictures that Jillian took for my daughter and future son-in-law, but I'm already thrilled!!! Jillian ventured out with them on a bitterly cold morning and beautifully captured their love for each other!! The pictures are breathtaking!! Jillian was willing - even excited - to accept the challenge of shooting outside on a cold winter's day when others refused to try. The results - unique, memorable, spectacular!! Thank you, Jillian!!!

Jillian shot my wedding back in August. She showed professionalism and passion from our first consultation all the way to her last shot of the night. Jillian captured a perfect balance of posed and candid pictures. She took her time to learn what shots meant the most to us and ensured that she captured each one beautifully. Her friendly and personable attitude allowed us to relax throughout the shoot and allow the happiness and the beauty of the day shine through in our pictures. Every picture from our wedding was stunning and showed her incredible artistic talent. She made our wedding photography experience a breeze!

some would say that Jillian Powers is "outstanding for her age" at photography, but that is not the case. She is just simply outstanding at photography. She may be young of age but her abilities and professionalism surpass that of many adults both in and out of her field. From just the work i have done with her from my portfolio, seeing her work on landscape, weddings, portraits etc, i am sure her passion has and will take her far in life. She is a modern day young woman that applies both her skills for photography and her knowledge and experience of the real world to give you a package that is best suited for you and whatever budget you may be on. She is a fiercely hard worker and will give you the best results possible. I recommend her to everyone i come across and will continue to do so.

Jillian's artistic approach to photography captured our family in pictures we will treasure forever ! Her ability to work under pressure is amazing! We took our photos on a windy day and I was worried about my hair... No worries she was able to defy what Mother Nature had done to my hair with Photoshop and editing;)
Most of all she does her craft with great passion and that comes through in every pose!
