I was getting interviews from companies but not receiving any job offers so I contacted Laina to improve my interviewing skills. The one-on-one professional feedback during practice behavioral interviews was invaluable. Most importantly, she helped me develop strong introduction statements for positive first impressions. Ms. Krisik helped with write my resume and cover letter for a senior engineering position. I had a very limited time to finish the application and she worked with me to complete it in time. She helped me identify my skills and describe them to suit the posted engineering position. She was very diligent and professional, and an asset in my job search. I would highly recommend her.

Laina was very prompt in reaching out via email after my expression of need for an updated resume. Laina and I also met and she was professional and prompt. She asked good questions in an effort to draw out things she could use.
Her focus sadly, was more oriented on getting paid as opposed to developing a high quality, results generating resume for me as the client. There was a minor issue with Chase Quick Pay which in all fairness, was my fault, but she received payment in full less than 24 hours later. Despite my communication with her, she reached out to Thumbtack to question "payment times" which resulted in my receiving a collection notice. Again, this was 24 hours later and she had been paid in full.
Although Laina stated this was a mistake by Thumbtack, her focus went back to insuring she received 50% of her payment upfront for a resume and again, little to no focus on providing a high quality experience for the client.

This being my first time ever using Thumbtack and an electronic payment system, I did contact Thumbtack inquiring about payment procedures. I did not approve or was even asked if they could contact you on my behalf. I apologize that you felt my focus was more on payment rather than the service itself and also for any inconvenience this may have caused for you.
