About
Aloha,
I hope to make your party a great success with face painting and glitter tattoos. The look of delight on your child's face is priceless. From tigers to mermaids or whatever your keiki's heart desires. I would love to put smiles on all your guests faces.
***New*** I'm now offering colorful, rainbow/bubble braided unicorn ponytails for an additional charge.
I'm a former preschool teacher of 15 years with the fabulous Wheeling Park District and face painting, in business over 10 years.
I use only top of the line, professional face paints and safe, cosmetic grade glitters.
Extra sanitation practices are in place for safety and peace of mind.
*I am fully vaccinated and insured*
I am also the house face painter for the popular Amdur Productions Fine Art festivals every weekend during the summer in the Chicago area and suburbs. Google them and find the closest fair near you. Bring the kids of course. :D
Mahalo and can't wait to hear from you!

We had the absolute best experience with Aloha! She is so friendly and her work was incredible for my son’s first birthday party! The kids absolutely loved her and went up multiple times to keep adding on to their faces! Everything turned out wonderful! Thank you so much Aloha!!

Ms. Sharon is worth her weight in gold! Her work is amazing, every face was unique. She is very professional, arrived early, and was ready before event time. She was very responsive to our little ones who waited patiently to get their facespainted and arms tatooed. We've already asked her back for next year's Academy Carnival and backpack giveaway.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The going rate is $150 per hour. Two hour minimum is the average time span. Some face painters charge more, some charge less. A more experienced painter will be more but beware of anyone using acrylic paints and craft glitter. Not only is that unprofessional but it is extremely dangerous, especially to the eyes.
My pricing may vary depending on the event.
Festivals that are more than one day are welcome.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to offer suggestions as my set up time varies from a house party or a block party/outdoor set up.
As a professional entertainer sometimes space requirements must be met. 10x10 space for outdoor events where a tent is needed.
Half down payment required for booking. This way you have the date and time you require. The remainder of the fee is paid the day of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a preschool teachers asst. for 15 years. I am very patient with children.
I take various classes in face painting from the best in the business. Either online, at a convention or house gathering with other face painters and party entertainers.
Studying not only techniques in design but sanitation of supplies, safety and line management as needed.
