I have a lot of passion and I work for myself so I never let a client leave until they are 100% happy. The difference between a freelancer and someone working for a company is a freelancer needs to do their best for referrals and continuous business as this is their livelihood but for someone working for a company know that they will be taken care of and given a job even if they don't do their best. What sets me aside from other freelancers is my Before & After makeup work. I show my work with real clients not photo shopped models or black & white images. I believe in showing true work on real people! Everyday I get to wake up and know that I am doing exactly what I love to do. Makeup has always been a great passion of mine... I pay close attention to detail and I'll never let you leave till I am 100% happy with the work, which makes me great at what I do. I always feel good after a makeup session especially when they look in the mirror and are speechless and want to take me home lol.... Making people feel good always makes your job even more worth it and fun.

Love love love Florina, and I know my bridesmaids all agree. Florina did the bridal makeup for me and my wedding party of 10. We were a little pressed for time considering there were so many of us, but she took the time to make sure she did a great job on everyone and all the girls were happy with the way they looked. A couple of my bridesmaids were veterans in the wedding department and said that they were happier with their makeup by Florina than any other time they've had their makeup done. As the bride, I told Florina beforehand that I wanted my makeup to be a little more dramatic than I was used to, and she listened. At first I thought it was a little too much, but then realized how big of a difference it made in my pictures. I picked Florina off of thumbtack because I saw that her specialty was eyes, and I wanted to stand out on my wedding day. Also, her prices are super reasonable and she was willing to travel. Florina and Hugo were also super friendly and down to earth. We really enjoyed having them there while we all got ready for the wedding. Also, Florina gives her clients an extra personal touch by posting about them and adding pictures on her facebook page where she also gives makeup and health advice. She is a woman of many trades. I HIGHLY recommend Florina if you are looking for bridal makeup or anything else. Her facebook page is super helpful if you want to get an idea of what she's all about. Thank you Florina :)

I have been to Florina twice now and all I can say is wow. She is a very talented lady, she has so much knowledge and she really knows how to apply it. From a casual day look to an ultra sexy night look Florina can do it all. She is also a great teacher, after I saw what she could do for me I asked if she could teach me how and she smiled and said of course she could, and she did I am still nowhere as good as she is but my technique has improve greatly. I have had several other makeovers from others, but I never received compliments on them from others, but after my first trip to Florina I got so many compliments that night I was overwelmed. I will definitely be back for more everytime I need one or just want to feel special from the way I am treated by her.

Florina is the best, bar none! She made me feel comfortable right from the begining, very cool and nonjudgemental. She listened to ideas I had and was able to make me look better than I ever thought i could. I can't say enough good about her, and I will definitely be a return client.

I have always been peculiar about my makeup,especially my eyes...colors, shadings and coverage. When Florina did my makeup, I was so impressed, not only with how relaxed she makes you feel during the process, but how professional and artistic she is. She used a foundation that felt like silk and my eyes were so dramatic....it was unbelievable! Not only is she an expert in make up, Florina makes everyone feel like they are already beautiful, even before applying make-up. She is a dear friend and delightful person. Would I recommend her to others? You bet!!!!

    Services I Provide Makeup Applications - $80 Bridal Makeup (Lashes Included) $65 Bridal Makeup Trial (In Studio) $65 Bridesmaids and Mothers (Lashes Included) $65 In Studio Makeup Application (Lashes Included) Makeup Lessons - $240 Individual Makeup Lessons These lesson are a maximum of 2 hours, you leave with your preferred Makeup done and a outline to follow for when your on your own. This is a step by step Makeup lesson with my secret tips and tricks which helps makes it very easy for you to follow what I do and learn as much as you can so you can do it on your own. $180 (A Person) Group/Class Session This is a 2-3 hour class session. The makeup class is usually a minimum of 3 to 6 Girls.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I first started doing makeup for my sisters (6 of us girls, i know WOW! lol) for events or fun occasions and then started getting requests for bridal makeup from friends & relatives until sudden people I didn't even know where contacting me for makeup that where referred to me from a friend or a friend of a friend and so on. That's when I knew it was time to start my full time freelancing makeup career. I love my job and I'm very blessed to be doing what I love.
