FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hotel only bookings - NO FEE. Hotel bookings over $10,000 will unlock additional complimentary perks. You are still earning rewards points/miles if booking under a brand that has a rewards program (Bonvoy etc). Full Service Planning - I charge a fee. Fees are dependent on many factors, including duration & complexity of the trip. Trips include an electronic itinerary, travel insurance recommendations, VIP status at partner hotels, and support before & during your trip. Prices from $300. A La Carte - If you only need 1-2 tours or some dining reservations, I can provide a la carte pricing. Typically $50 per dining reservation is standard.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Complimentary consultation: 20-30 minutes to discuss your vision for the trip, who's going on the trip, your preferences, and learn about me and how I work. I will present the total fee & estimated budget. 2) If you want to move forward, I require a signed agreement and payment of my professional planning fee. 3) Next, I will present a preliminary itinerary and pricing (within 14 days, sometimes sooner) + quote for travel insurance. Together we will adjust the itinerary until finalized & down payments made. I will contact you 4-6 weeks prior to trip to check if any updates and start making dinner reservations for your trip and make sure final payments are in order.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a PharmD and although not directly related to travel, it speaks to a high level of education I have earned. For my business, I have completed a Travel MBA and Jumpstart Program required by my host agency, Gifted Travel Network. I am also a member of American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and Virtuoso Specialist in both Family, Adventure and Food & Wine.
