I dealt with Roy the owner of the business. He gave me a competitive quote and completed the job as committed. However, when it came to collecting the payment, he became so rude, raised his voice and used swear words which was completely uncalled for. This all happened because he could not figure out how to text me a video of the job. I only asked for pictures, not video since I was not at the site. I have zero tolerance for rude contractors and while I think he is capable of getting the job done, he certainly is not someone I will hire again. He needs to get some basic training in customer service to help improve his business.

So your threat to me to leave a bad review, because I was frustrated with you demanding that I send you pictures of proof to you that I completed the job before you would pay me, while the whole time you had your tenants there who where capable of verifying that I did, seemed to me you were looking for an excuse not to pay for the work I had done! I committed to doing your job at your tenants house, without ever having met you, just through phone calls, came out with my equipment and crew at my expense, hoping you would not stiff me, but I guess I'm too trusting and you were equally rude! You have not paid me, so at this point, what are you complaining about? And I have zero tolerance for you as well. I have been in business a long time, way before the internet, and I always hold up my end! I come out and do the work, and when I'm done I expect to be paid! But when I asked you to pay me, you wanted pictures, and you had excuses, sorry again there are people living in your house who you can verify with! I would like to be paid for the work I did!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contacting them to set up a time with for an estimate if the choose to be home, if not I can still come out to provide a written estimate, which will outline specifically the work we intend to perform. Once given a go ahead I will schedule job within 5 to 7 days weather permitting. We will do all work outlined with meticulous clean up. And then once the customer is completely satisfied I will ask for payment.
