Introduction: Get Hitched Indiana specializes in simple elopement weddings. We are happy to provide wedding minister services at our location or yours anywhere in Indiana. A simple elopement wedding can start your new lives quickly and simply. We love to have fun and hope you both do too. If you are looking for old school and stuffy ceremony we may not be your cup of tea. We are a husband and wife duo so you have you choice between us. We love surprises, so if you are looking to just show up and Get Hitched on spur the moment, that is our idea of a good time! Our daytime jobs keep us in South Bend (Mary) and Goshen (Darrell). Reach out to see what our day looks like and we are happy to meet you for a quickie lunch break wedding. We are in Argos in the evenings so if you want to find us after our day job is done, that is where you will find us. Cost for this service is $60. Simple wedding ceremony service where we travel to your event is $100 in Indiana for Marshall, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko, Starke, and Fulton County. We are also happy to road trip beyond these areas but charge an added reasonable fee for the mileage and travel time. We will be sure to advise you of the added fee in our first connection so you can be well informed.

Darrell officiated our wedding on short notice when our other officiant fell through. He was a fixer and he was open for anything. We had a blast. He made sure everything was taken care of.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Local ceremonies are $100 where we travel to you (Marshall, St Joseph, Elkhart, Fulton. Kosciusko, and Starke counties. we will advise you if there is a nominal added fee to travel further than our surroundings in most cases it would not exceed $20 or $40 extra. And if you want to come to us in Argos or Mary's office in South Bend for a quick elopement, the fee is $60. Just connect with us in advance to make arrangements. We do not normally do big weddings because of the extra travel requirement for the rehearsal. We can on occasion be available for local rehearsals for an added fee. Email or call to discuss if that is an option you are needing. Get Hitched Indiana is able and willing to perform events in Michigan and Illinois, however we normally decline events in Chicago due to the traffic.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will email or call you to discuss your event. From there if you would like vow examples or help writing vows, we can assist. We can even schedule a Zoom meeting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are ordained through the Universal Life Church.
