Introduction: Arrested Sounds is a full service professional Event DJ ready to transform any celebration into a night to remember. With over 80,000 songs in our library and the ability to instantly download music on site, we will always have the songs requested by both you and your guests. I continuously stay on top of music trends and play what is hot. We will help guide you throughout the process of making an event playlist or make the playlist ourselves. We have state of the art sound and lighting equipment, we only use L.E.D. dance floor lighting to guarantee a fabulous time for everyone in attendance. We have spent a great deal of time researching and practicing various architectural up lighting techniques and believe we have developed a winning formula. We work closely with our clients to turn their vision into a reality. I carry full liability insurance as every professional DJ should. My name is Joe Christian and I am a local law enforcement officer in Porter County, Indiana with 17 years of experience. I am a lifelong music love, which inspired me to explore an interested in becoming an Event DJ. I now have over 5 years of DJ experience, and thoroughly enjoy the thrill of transforming an empty venue into a spectacular event. I believe that fostering a positive DJ/client relationship is essential in executing your vision for a perfect event. I specialize in wedding receptions, but also do every other type of event. I approach every event as my own, and I guarantee that I will put my heart and soul into making your event AMAZING!

September 19, 2015 was the best day of my life, I got to marry my best friend! Wedding planning is hard work! It is stressful, overwhelming and everything in between! I have always been a firm believer that the most important part of a wedding is the music! If you want your guests to have a good time the music better be outstanding! I do not have enough words to describe the wonderful experience I had with Arrested Sounds! They were fun, accommodating and treated you like family! The owner was more than willing to go above and beyond to make my special day extravagant. He gave me the ability to have a stress free wedding day, which ultimately is the best gift ever! The music was fantastic, his personality was warm, funny and enthusiastic, the prices were affordable and most importantly he makes time for you! If a 10 star option was available I would definitely be giving Arrested Sounds 10 stars!

I truly believe it is the DJ that sets the tone of your event and helps make it memorable. Did people get out on the dance floor and have fun? From birthday parties to weddings, Arrested Sounds has done an incredible job with the lighting, and sound/music to make it an event to remember. Joe also makes it a point to get to know you and what kind of music you like and dont like. He is in tune with the crowd and knows how to shake things up to get people on the dance floor. I would highly recommend Arrested Sounds to anyone looking to make their event memorable for their guests to be talking about in the years to come.

Joe went above and beyond for our wedding day. I dont think there is one thing I would change from his services for our wedding. Joe customized all of our requests and setup to our liking and his pricing is on point. Great job Joe! I would recommend Joe to anyone.

I have a general pricing standard but I am always willing to work with clients to make my service affordable for their needs.

I work with my clients very closely to insure I know exactly what they expect and then know exactly what I can provide.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lifelong love a music that allows me to pick the right songs based on the guests in attendance. I also have 17 years of intense police training. Through this training I have become and expert in analyzing and controlling large crowds. I have also had extensive training in planning, strategizing , and organizing which I apply when planning and perform for an event.
