My son loves taking riding lessons here. His trainer, Mary Lynn, is wonderful with him. The other trainers are great too. She makes sure he understands it all - from taking care of the horse to riding.
It was heaven to be back in a working barn again. Everyone was super nice, the instructor was passionate and knowledgeable, the horses well-cared for. It seems she worked me in at a time that wasn't a normal lesson time-later Friday night-so we shared the area for a bit with someone else, which made it less than ideal for both of us, but we all adapted and made it work. Not only did I get my riding lesson-barrel racing at last!- but I got clear feedback on the why of doing things a certain way, which I loved. I was also given information on where to see competitions, and other interests suggested to me. Great place!
This is a top notch facility w top notch trainers. I took a class for the first time in 20 plus years and felt very welcome and safe in the environment. Beautiful horses for lessons that are obviously very well cared for.
I'm a riding instructor in another style and have partnered with Shelley to add to my own education and deepen my bag of tricks for teaching and riding. I find my lessons are just what I need no matter where I am at the moment we start. I'd recommend her for how much experience she brings to her lessons, workshops and coaching moments.
I go the extra mile and explain riding techniques so everyone can understand. I also keep class sizes smaller to benefit everyone involved. I love to see my students smile and enjoy helping them create that bond with a horse.
If you can't ride bareback, you can't ride at all. So, I suggest you hop on your horse and ride. You can always tell if you are meant to ride because you have to find the steps and trust your horse.
I provide horseback riding lessons from beginners through intermediate. I come to your house and help you and your horse figure your way through the maze of dressage (or just basic good riding skills). I am qualified by 30 years of riding and show experience through 3rd level.

First off, I'm 20 but I have been riding since I was 4. I started barrel racing since I was 7. I had a few genital men help me learn how to ride then my uncle passes away so now I don't show cause I don't have a horse. So I can teach to contesting events(barrels) or I could just teach to just ride your horse on trails or in the back yard. If you interested, call me and will work on prices normally one day of work is $35 unless you like far.
