What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am Professionally certified through NESTA out of California. It is an extensive certification course that needs to be reviewed every 4 years. NESTA certified.com My certificate # 61542985 thru 8-23-2014 This program ensures that the trainer is knowledgeable in proper joint positioning while doing resistance training. Biomechanics of the body. Designing programs for individuals goals. Assessments of physical limitations. Progressing the client. Getting the client to their goals as quickly and safely as possible. Nutritional education, and much more.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who enjoys what they do. Look for someone who provides motivation. Look for someone who is professionally certified, who knows how to develop programs for each clients specific goals. Look for someone who is going to do an assessment of your current physical limitations so they know how to go about designing that program. Look for someone who is going to progress the client and re-assess down the road. Look for someone who for a single price, provides unlimited support between sessions by means of text, phone calls, or e-mail.
