Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: You are not just money; you are family! At The Welke Law Firm, we offer state and federal pre-trial and trial assistance, Indiana rule 1 post-conviction relief assistance, federal habeas corpus assistance, as well as state and federal appellate court assistance at an affordable cost to our clients and their families. We also specialize in bankruptcy as well as family law litigation. In addition, payment plans can be arranged for some of our services. For any criminal law matter, we require a one-time retainer to meet with a client at the facility that he or she is incarcerated. At that time, we discuss your case and options with you before we proceed any further. If you do not have a case, we will tell you of that fact, in an open and forthright manner. Fees have been kept low. Phone calls are returned to your family members. We pride ourselves on answering all correspondence from you as soon as reasonably possible. Who are we? Brent Welke has been an attorney since 1974, and is a minister with a M.Div. from Regent University. Brent recently came out of retirement to found The Welke Law Firm, after he realized a profound need existed for a street law firm based upon Christian principles to assist the men and women who are the unwelcome guests of the Indiana Department of Correction. Brent has been repulsed by what he has heard from incarcerated men and women, in relation to their treatment by their attorneys, and how their family members have been likewise treated with disdain. Therefore, Brent has dedicated The Welke Law Firm to addressing the legal needs of the incarcerated, while treating those men and women, including their family members, by the principle of the golden rule. Joseph G. Everroad, B.S.L., J.D., is a certified criminal law paralegal. Before his pro-se litigated PC-R matter resulted in a reduced sentence, Joseph faced the same plight as your incarcerated loved one currently does, by serving over two-decades of confinement with the Indiana Department of Correction for a crime he did not commit. He wisely utilized his time during his incarceration by earning five college degrees, including a very rare B.S.L. degree concentrated in criminal law. Joseph's resume as a long-time certified criminal law paralegal includes numerous state and federal appellate court successes, many of which have set precedent, and he has been twice honored as paralegal of the year for his work, assisting various criminal defense attorneys throughout the United States. What Joseph considers his greatest accomplishment to date resulted in an innocent man being released from Alabama's death row. Of even greater significance, Joseph has dedicated his life to assisting the men and women who are facing the same plight as he once did, while honoring the promises that he had made to his legal mentor, Dan Toomey, before his untimely passing from cancer.
