I am the only AICI Certified Image Consultant in Indiana. I am also a personal stylist.
I am particularly good at styling men but also work with women. I trained in Manhattan and West Hollywood as well as with a master image Consultant.

I am a leader - currently serving as President of the Chicago Midwest Chapter of the Association of Image Consultants International.
To be a certified image consultant with the prestigious Association of Image Consultants International, I passed an extensive exam, submitted a portfolio of my work and continue to complete continuing education hours. I am the only CIC in Indiana.

My experience was even better than I expected. Beth is knowledgeable, friendly and accessible. I got a lot of very practical advice on my wardrobe of what to get rid of but also of what to keep doing. That was helpful! I can highly recommend Beth's styling service.

I hired Beth to renew my closet to a more professional and polished look while hunting for the perfect suit and dresses for interviews. You might ask: "why not just ask the stylists at the store?" Well, it is simple, Beth has extensive training and is truly an artist, with one goal: Make you the best "you" possible. I waste so much money buying things that 1) don't flatter me 2) wrong color 3) I only know to use with one outfit (and let's not go into all the shoes you end up buying that don't fit). This ends now. I feel that this is worth the investment if you are going to be getting long lasting pieces that actually work for you and you can use with many outfits, thus you are saving money in the long run since you are not buying random things you can't even dress yourself with.
I do not have a flexible schedule, budget, and I have a petite frame which has made shopping a horror story. After talking to Beth she was extremely flexible and accommodating to my needs. I learned so much about color, my frame, and what looks best for my body type. It was really fun to go shopping after she pointed out stores that have my sizes. I found THE perfect suit on the first try! (Believe me, this never happens). All items I purchased were on sale, so she is great at finding you deals if you are on a strict budget.
You must get a closet cleans. This is a key step! Big tip: make sure you start early so that you give yourself time to look for what you need, and this will allow you to take advantage of the big sales. If this isn't an option for you then tell her immediately what your frame is. She will work with you!
I wish I had met Beth in my 20s so that I could have learned about what works for me. Now that I am in my 30s I am happy that I am finally learning what I should have known about myself years ago. This is an experience every girl (and guy) should have. I highly recommend her services. You will find the experience invaluable.

Beth is a great personal stylist. She has keen eye for color and proportions and was able to update my wardrobe in a short time. She gave me great tips on what to buy in the future and, more importantly, what to avoid! She covered everything, including accessories, make-up and shoes.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on client request. I charge a flat rate by the package: $250 color and shape consult. Closet audit $500 and up. Personal shopping$350 total for half day that includes a 2-hour preshop and then 2 hours with the client.
I can also do custom programs for you based on your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One of the first things we do is chat or text about what the client wants. Once we agree on services needed, I send the client a detailed questionnaire to learn about the client and his/her styling goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take at least 1-2 continuing education classes a year, most through AICI.
I have trained with the School of Style: Men's Wear, Personal Styling and the Stylist Certification Program (more than 120 hours).
I am a member of the Association of Image Consultants and serve on the Chicago Midwest Chapter of AICI as VP- membership and President elect 2019.
I have reached the Certified Image Consultant level which means I passed an exam and had an extensive portfolio approved by AICI. To maintain Certified I complete several hours of continuing education.
I also worked in the retail industry and am a trained makeup artist (Brenda Sotolongo Studios).
