A+, having had bad experiences with other contractors, working with Dave was a breeze. He was prompt, did great work, and most importantly, was reasonable on price. I've recommended him to friends and family. Most recently my mother, and she couldn't be happier.Oct 9, 2013

Excellent in designing the new look of our kitchen with a quality look we approve of together. Helped in planning & providing all materials for this job. Could be five weeks but we aren't that concerned because we know our home will be done by quality workmanship. Always on time & will notify you of any changes that need to be made in his schedule. Leaves work areas clean & convenient for his customer.Oct 8, 2014Verified
He arrived at scheduled time and was helpful and friendly. He finished work in 2 hours and everything was fixed. We will use this company if needed again.Jul 7, 2014Verified
I hired Dave Broughten, owner of Dream Design of Indiana, to add a new master bathroom and completely remodel our existing bathroom. He was very professional and it was apparent he was a true craftsman (he had an impressive portfolio of finished projects to back it). We were looking for high quality results and someone we felt comfortable being with in our home. But most importantly, Dave was easy to communicate with and always guided us in the right direction. During projects like these it is tempting to go over the top with upgrades but he kept us in check and help us stay on track with our desired budget. I would recommend Dream Design of Indiana to my family, friends and coworkers knowing that his attention to detail and pragmatic approach has made this an amazing experience.Mar 16, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My price is very fair and I am less expensive than my competitors that are at my level. My company is small for a reason. I’ve had employee’s and have felt like a glorified babysitter in the past. I figured out a better way years ago! I can better control quality by doing it all myself. I only use top quality products and won’t touch materials I don’t believe in. This helps my process greatly. Top quality products are not always way more expensive. They are worth the price you pay for years to come.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Ask plenty of questions and do a lot of listening and note taking.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started working for my grandpa at 15 as a plumbing apprentice. Then for my next 15 years, roofing, interior trim, cabinetry, exteriors, framing, tile setting, and all aspects of flooring. I wanted to not just know it all but be good at everything in my chosen field. About 20 years ago I wanted to learn how to design the spaces I was working on so, I started my own company and worked my way into full kitchen and bathroom design and remodeling.
