- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based upon the scope of a project. We provide pricing per data circuit or cable, per device, or on an hourly basis if we're installing equipment that is provided by the client. SDS pricing typically includes the cost of cable, labor and applicable materials. Equipment purchased from SDS is itemized on all quotes and displayed separately from associated labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
SDS typically visits with a client on-site to review needs (or virtually if an on-site visit is not feasible) and then prepares a proposal with designs & costs to review with the client. Once we're ready to move forward, SDS utilizes a basic Statement of Work agreement and/or Statement of Services for work approvals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
SDS has over 80 years of related technology experience between 9 team members. Most team members are college educated and have specialized in electronic security, audio/visual, commercial trades installation or electronic communications. SDS is BBB accredited, insured, and experienced in a wide array of technologies.
