- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved music, it was always on in my house growing up. Then when I was 12 I started carrying crates of records for my cousin who taught me to DJ. The first time I saw him control a crowd with his hands on the vinyl my career path was decided.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings is the most common private event. But I also have a weekly residency at the Neon Cactus in West Lafayette. We also do proms, sweet 16's, fraternity and sorority functions, and corporate events.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a wedding reception where the grooms family was from Lebanon. As part of the ceremony they were wondering if I could include any Arabic music. They provided me with a couple of examples and I surprised them by making a full 20 minute Arabic mix, beat matched and produced just as I do with my usual music library.
