What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For short documents, like essays, my fees are around $50.00. For book manuscripts, I charge between 2¢ and 4¢ per word. I will read your work multiple times!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After agreeing to the cost of the project, I also work out an agreeable timeline. My clients can simply send a document (Word or Google) at any time via email. Typically, I work through any questions via email. I will also meet with clients, in person or virtually, on bigger projects, like book manuscripts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in English and Spanish. While in college, I worked as an assistant for an English professor, who was also a published poet. I proofread two of his manuscripts.
In addition, I recently retired from teaching Spanish which required daily proofreading and editing of my own work, of colleagues' work and of my students' work!
