Introduction: M.E.G. Photography specializes in wedding, newborn, and portraits photography with a candid, and contemporary approach.
In 2007, I turned my love and passion for photography into a career, and M.E.G. Photography was born. I love weddings, babies, and family, so really it was a no-brainer. I studied and interned with other local photographers before venturing out on my own in 2008. At the time, I was working my childhood dream job as a marine mammal trainer (Yes, that was me swimming with the dolphins in shows!). After the birth of our first daughter early 2010, I left the animal care field to focus on motherhood, and continue running my full-time photography business. I work alongside my husband, Lee, who runs our senior-portrait photography business, and we have had the opportunity to meet some of the best brides and grooms in the Midwest!
Every time I shoot, there is something different, special, and unique to each couple and family. I work hard to be sure that my images reflect that. At your session, or on the day of your wedding, expect to just do the things you would normally do in any other day of your life. Play, laugh, giggle, and just have fun! Years from now, I want you to be able to look back at these photographs, and remember that very special day in your life and the moments that were captured. I want to showcase every kiss, every milestone, every laugh and every tear, just the way you would want it to be remembered.
