FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend as many product seminars as I can. I also read about 20-30 magazines a month. I talk to my product reps and test out new items as I can. There is always a new tool/techniue.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You get what you pay for. Don't ask me to work for nothing because I wouldn't come to your office and ask you to work for nothing. And if you hire that guy who's price is too good to be true...it probably is. And, I will come and fix it without any animosity, but the cost of all materials has more than likely gone up. Not because I am being vindictive but because its probably been 2-5 years and the other guy has strung you along or tried to fix it more than once.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Its costs money to be in business and just because I take a check for thousands, doesn't mean that's all mine. I don't get to keep all that money. There's the truck and tires and gas(it gets 5 miles/gal) and brakes and springs, and oil changes, and break-downs, and and and......over half the money is out the door before I start the job or just after I finish. This isn't a fly by night operation we're here and have been for over 10 years. I don't have a day job and do this part time. This is how I feed and clothe my kids and pay the bills.
