FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, we have a standard pricing system that we have developed using our 25 years of experience. We base our price on the time it normally takes to complete a job, and we get a material quote for every single job. If we do quote a job on-site, which we normally do for roofing, we know exactly what our material costs are going to be. We don't base our price on the current per sq.ft. or per lineal ft. that is the going rate, and that is how we stay competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer is trying to get to know them a little bit better. I find that it relaxes both the customer and myself and helps to open communication and also helps the customer feel more at ease about asking questions that they may have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my training has been on the job training, which I think is best in the construction/ home improvement industry. If we use a new product such as a new type of roofing, I will thoroughly research it first, and either we will go to a workshop, or we will have a company representative help us with on-site training. I personally have 18 years of experience in the construction/ home improvement industry and my brother has 7 years of experience.
