Introduction

For the past 11 years, I've enjoyed working with a variety of clients to provide accurate and timely bookkeeping, reporting and analysis. I have 19 years of experience as an Accountant in diverse industries, including real estate and construction, marketing, farming, retail, non-profit, government, restaurant, and more! I have Accounting and Spanish degrees from the University of Indianapolis. After graduating college, I volunteered in the Peace Corps for 2 1/2 years in a small town in Costa Rica. I started my business in 2014 to have more flexibility with my family. I'm also an Artist, play lots of basketball, and follow Jesus.

All of the Thumb Tack bookkeepers I spoke to were very nice. I have had an unbelievably hard time finding a bookkeeper to help me straighten out my business books and personal financials without judgment or shaming me. I had tried to hire someone from Quickbooks Live Bookkeeping service, but twice was assigned to one of their bookkeepers who made me feel bad about the state of the work I needed, and how burdened their schedules were, and they'd have a hard time fitting me in without waiting for 4-6 weeks to get started. Dave was very present, positive, and willing to get my finances on the right track quickly. He is not done yet but has done a tremendous job helping my business and personal finances take the proper shape. Thanks! Debra

Definitely the best phone call I made during my search for bookkeeping support for my business. Dave is a great teacher, a clear communicator, and an experienced expert. He is exactly the person I needed to coach me through my Quickbooks Online setup and troubleshooting. My former bookkeeper made a mess of my books and Dave got me straightened out in record time.
