- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally started my career in law enforcement. After relocating to the east coast and finding out there was a wait list for the local civil service exam, I started working as a private investigator and haven't looked back since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of surveillance. I love to do surveillance and I'm the best at it. Surveillance can be a tool utilized by many clients including attorneys, insurance companies, and private individuals.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure to clarify exactly how the private investigator you hire is going to bill you. A lot of companies will through in a lot of hidden costs. At MIG, Inc., I charge a flat hourly rate and NO mileage. Please keep in mind that throughout the course of a PI's day there are incidentals that he or she cannot forsee, but these tend to be nominal. If during the course of our investigation a significant cost arises we will do everything within our power to run it by you before we incur it on your behalf expecting to be compensated for it.
