Susan addressed, stamped and mailed hundreds of wedding invitations for my son's wedding. She also suggested the wording of the invitations. They were beautifully written and the job was completed very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any size job.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Writing copy, (or some people just call it "writing"), proofreading, and editing all depend on the genre of the manuscript, article, script, or post. Some things are more time-consuming than others! A term paper might take a long time, if it includes professional jargon. A technical manual might involve becoming familiar with a particular product or process. So it depends on the genre and the subject matter. But it is always a pleasure to make a great impression in writing. We offer a low, flat rate for envelope addressing. The pricing for our custom graphic design work reflects how complex the task is. We strive to offer the best services at affordable prices.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I'm a native of Chicago, Illinois, "The Woman with the Pen" grew up in Ottawa, Kansas and is a graduate of Ottawa University and the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. After years of lawyering in Colorado and Kansas, I put my skills to work as a small business manager and consultant, among other creative pursuits. From a very young age and throughout the years, I designed and produced many theater programs, concert programs, brochures, flyers and posters. I was on the staff of my high school and college newspapers; I designed, wrote, edited, illustrated and laid out monthly newsletters for schools, churches, and non-profits. I created polished print advertisements for national business magazines and publications. I've been called an exceptional writer and editor, with a mastery of word processing and layout. I have a knack for website design, including writing, editing, layout, photos and illustration. Since as far back as my grade school years, my cursive handwriting has always been praised. After using my creativity and know-how for over 30 years to benefit schools, churches, non-profits, and businesses, I decided to complement my graphic design service and writing service with a cursive handwriting service for business and personal correspondence. Cursive handwriting is becoming a lost art. I intend to preserve it and celebrate it. This is a home-based business, which is ideal for our family.
