Introduction: My name is Teri Shelton, and I would like to introduce you to A to Z Services. A to Z Services began in 1992 as a self-employed housecleaning business. I was a freshman in college and found out that I was going to be a mother. I had to clean house to support myself and my young son at that time, but I knew that I was on my way to a Business Management degree. I did not know what type of business I would have in the future, but I wanted the name to allow me to do whatever I decided on hence, the name A to Z Services. I've always wanted to be at home to raise my own children, but life with all of its harsh realities, has kept me from reaching that goal. I am now a single mother with 4 children. In February, I lost my full-time job as a dental secretary because my daughter was diagnosed with scarlet fever, and I had to be home with her for 4 days. My children need me, but I have to pay the bills too. I decided that I was going to attempt to gain enough work from home to meet their needs. One of the new services I provide is accounting/bookkeeping. My qualifications include the job opportunity I had in 2000 to integrate QuickBooks program into the Donahue Corporation office and replace their manual ledgers. My fees for this service, which includes data entry of all transactions into the computer and monthly accounting, are 50 cents per transaction and $150/month. Accounting is only one of many services available with A to Z Services. I am enclosing a couple of business cards and flyers that list a few of the other services I provide. If you have an employee bulletin board, would you post one of my flyers? Each of the services I provide has its own fee that can be discussed if you are interested. If you need someone to run an errand, so that you can stay at the office, give me a call. I clean houses, cars and trucks, sheds, garages, and businesses, if you would just be willing to let me come clean once a week, it would be greatly appreciated. Would you like to re-design any form you currently use in your office, or would you like to have a new line of matching business cards and stationery for the office? How about an employee calendar? I've got lots of great ideas. I would love the opportunity to discuss any job opportunity you may have for me.
