- What types of customers have you worked with?
Teaching riding skills, from basic to advance. Our riders ride for a variety of reasons, pleasure, exercise, bonding with an animal and to compete locally to national level competitions. Training horses; basic manners to advance skills for showing and pleasure. Boarding horses, quality care and supervision of horses and ponies. Summer programs for kids, teaching grooming, tacking up, stall cleaning and so much more. We give kids opportunities to work with and learn about horses without having to own one. Some students go on a buy their own horse. Work to Ride and Hands on Programs are available for kids ages 10 and up. These programs require dedication and some previous experience on the students part.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go and personally visit the facility. It is appreciated if you make an appointment first. We love to have the time to show new customers around and answer their questions
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
You get what you pay for. There are a lot of people in the horse business that do not possess the knowlege or skill to correctly teach and train riders. Check out the facility and instructor stop in for a visit call them on the phone and evaluate how they respond to you and your questions. We welcome customers stopping in to check us out. In fairness we request prospective customers to set up a time to visit with us. As we are busy and can not always stop what we are doing if they come unannounced. But they are welcome to pop-in to visit any time.
