FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mowing pricing differs from property to property. The larger the property is, the more there is to edge and trim. Therefore the price raises. Tree trimming is basically $5.00 per cut, both in the tree and on the ground. Pricing for tree removal is based on approximation of man hours and dumping fees. Most other pricing will involve measurements and the math to find how much of what materials are to be used.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our company subscribes to many magazines and e-letters that keep us up to date on all the newest "green" techniques, ranging from residential fertilization to acreages of greenhouses and their maintenance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted something as a young teen and my mother told me to find some work and save my money. I grabbed our mower and went around town every day that summer and made enough money to buy several of the one item I wanted and enough money to buy plenty of other things as well. The money drew me in, but after a few years when I started working with professional companies, I really saw what was possible and was amazed.
