He is the best voice teacher I have had! He is professional but still makes lessons fun and interesting. The knowledge he has in all things music (& much more) is well beyond what you would find with a university teacher and he is always willing to share his knowledge with his students. And he plays the piano really well! I am amazed at how much my voice has improved in the time he has taught me & I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to sing.
Very professional. My guests loved the live music at my wedding
Before taking lessons with Heidi, my technique was very poor and I struggled with piano fundamentals. Heidi helped me improve greatly and gave me easy techniques to implement into my practice regimen that caused me to improve immensely. I had always disliked classical music, but Heidi taught me to appreciate the music, and now I even listen to classical music for enjoyment. Overall, Heidi is positive, fun, and extremely talented. I was very pleased with her teaching method and always looked forward to my piano lessons. I am extremely grateful to have had her as a teacher.
Jukeboxx Media is actually a service that will help put together a custom live band, but in our case we found a band that we really liked so they helped us book and work with the entire band. My husband and I loved that Jukeboxx helped us pick a band, pick every song, and work so closely with Jukeboxx and the band. We went to several live shows before choosing the band that was right for us. Chris and Aaron were extremely flexible (especially considering how many times we changed our minds) and also great to work with. We split the entertainment between two hours of DJ and three hours of a live band. After the wedding, everyone told us how great the band did, and how much they loved the DJ. They also set up an incredible lighting scheme that really made our reception look great.
I've been taking sax lessons from John for over a year now. He's great and has the patience of a saint. I took up music a little later in life than most and he has helped me figure out theory as well as play music that brings me great enjoyment. I would recommend him for lessons to anyone interested in sax or clarinet.
Rachel is delightful. Her music was perfect for our corporate cocktail event. She brings her own equipment which is a plus. I highly recommend working with her.
Everyone enjoyed listening to the great music at the event. Would recommend Mallory She is great to work with. Very professional.
I have known Elizabeth for nearly 15 years. She has always strived to be the very best she can be, for herself and others. Elizabeth continues to find ways to enhance her abilities as a music professional. Elizabeth and I work closely together. I have observed her and her interactions with students, parents and colleagues. I have witnessed her students maturing in their music studies while having fun "playing" music. Elizabeth has an outstanding work / teaching ethic and has high standards for herself and those who work with her. I have, and will again, recommend Elizabeth as a private music teacher of harp, piano, guitar and music theory.
I provide live jazz for elegant events! I do wedding cocktail hours, receptions, birthday parties, celebrations, and any event you can think of! Choose from solo guitar, guitar and vocals, guitar trio (guitar, bass, and drums), or a quartet (guitar/bass/drums with either a singer or a saxophone).
Our original date was rained out and Michelle was very understanding and eager to work with us to reschedule. I found her to be very personable and professional from the first introduction on Thumbtack, through the negotiations, the rescheduling and on the day of. She was great at making our guests feel welcome and she and the band performed a wide variety of music! We had a LOT of fun. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle Hawkins for your event!
Our teachers have degrees in music and care about the success of the students. We work to individualize each lesson based on the students needs.
I'm one of the longest playing banjoists (nearly 50 years) in the Kansas City area giving lessons. I specialize in bluegrass and banjo, it's my main instrument. Second is the resophonic guitar. I can get you started on other bluegrass instruments too, just ask.
I have 25 years of experience on piano including 4 years at Iowa State University. I also have 18 years of experience on guitar and drums. I teach a unique method that allows students to learn at a faster pace than most teachers.
I have taught piano and flute lessons for over eight years and have worked with many types of students. As a young professional, I believe I connect well with children and like to add fun into the lessons to inspire the love of music in my students. I have a classical music mindset and use sets of books that include a lesson, recital, technique, and theory book. Once the student is past the beginner stage, I help them find their "fun" songs whether that is a pop piece, Disney classics, or seasonal music such as Christmas music.

I do music, catering and decorations for weddings, parties, etc. I am a trained chef. I took culinary arts. I can basically cook anything. I plan events exactly like the way people want them. I also try to find the best deals for the people's buck, and I charge by the hour and is probably cheaper than the rest.
Be it lighting and sound, DJ, MC, live music, planning an event entertainment, harp guitar and banjo, we work hard to make it a magical occasion.
