FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We utilize both contingent fee billing (a percentage of the case recovery), and hourly billing, whichever is more appropriate for the case. There are limitations set by State law; for example, contingency fee contracts are not allowed in divorce cases. We charge reasonable fees for all work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a lawyer, the best way to start the process of working with a new client is to LISTEN. Only by listening can a lawyer determine what a client needs, and whether those needs can be accomplished in the legal system. We emphasize good communication at every stage of the case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to advanced education, our lawyers participate in continuing legal education that is specifically designed to keep us on the leading edge of the law. We also train to use the newest computer software to keep our law practice efficient and cost-effective.
