FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m trying to standardize pricing but I don’t really know how much work is needed until I see the unit in person- I’ve been surprised before . For travel more than 5 miles from Overland Park there is a $1.25/mile transit fee
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask customers a few questions: make/model, year purchase, how often it’s used, when was the last deep clean (if ever) and pictures of the current state of the grill. I can then give a ballpark estimate of the cost. I take before and after pictures of every project and share after work is done. Then I send invoice on final costs. If I find that parts are too worn or need replaced I will help you find them online, customer can order themselves and I can install.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in computer science. I have cleaned dozens if not a hundred grills. I enjoy some manual labor as an escape from the computer screens and I enjoy meeting my customers and making them happy with the results.
