A little about me: I'm an experienced CPA with 10 years preparing tax returns. I work with all types of returns but love doing returns for small business owners. I'm all for the education of my clients & I love taking the difficulty out of the process. I'm licensed in multiple states & registered with the IRS to prepare returns nationwide. You'll receive a preliminary return to review & ask questions. I want you to have full confidence in your return, and tax situation going forward. I charge a comprehensive flat fee; payable after the completion of the return. It includes an electronic filing of your federal & state returns, and all necessary forms. I'm a brand new business owner, and there are a LOT of things that I have no idea about, or how to do, or that I even need to do. That being said, I had TONS of inane questions for Kelly and she was super kind and helpful every step of the process. I needed help doing my personal and business taxes for the first time and had no idea where to start. Kelly was very communicative, helpful, and there to answer any questions that I had via email and phone. Collaboration was easy, and we used Dropbox to exchange all of the necessary documents. Kelly took care of filling out all of the tax paperwork, sent the files to me for review (and walked me through each line item over the phone), and electronically submitted on my behalf. She was insightful about the deductions that applied to my specific situation, and I don't know what I would have done without her! Her rate is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Kelly as a CPA, especially for freelance business needs.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I charge a flat fee for tax preparation. The fee will include preparation of federal & state tax returns, all forms necessary, and electronic filing. If bookkeeping is necessary to prepare the return, I'll provide another quote for that and you can decide how best to proceed. If, after the business return is prepared, you'd like me to prepare your personal return, a discount will be given.
