Edit, Read & Write: Sharp

Introduction: It's as if I crawled into a book and never came out! After recently obtaining my bachelor's degree in English writing, I realized how long, expensive, and unfortunately not guaranteed the road to professorship is. In pursuit of my ultimate goal to be a collegiate professor, I would like to share my passion and talents for reading and writing with others, either through tutoring, freelancing, or any other language based job. I cannot tell you why I am the best at what I do because that would be untrue, unfair, and and utterly unresearched claim. I can tell you, though, that you will not meet another writer with an equal amount of love and drive as well as feelings of elation in the face of a challenge. Each new opportunity, for me, is one where I get to uncover new knowledge and gain new skills through the various learning opportunities that life presents. Is "everything" and option here? Sure, I've had books I disliked, I've written my fair share of essays that I did not impress myself with, I've edited works of writing (big and small) with so many read marks that it looked as if the pages were bleeding. Those minute experiences fade away when set against the essays I've proudly turned in, certain of my grade, or the novels I've written that excited me as a writer and reader, or the books that I've lost copious amounts of sleep over, unable to put them down until the final word.
